Terms
Effective 10 October 2026
Pinnieboard is operated by Aubrey Freeman III, Verona, Wisconsin (“Pinnieboard”, “we”). These terms are the agreement between Pinnieboard and an organization that uses it. The relationship is simple: an association uses the tool to run its own tryouts.
- Who agrees. By accepting an owner invitation and creating a password, you agree to these terms and the Privacy page on behalf of your organization. You confirm you have the authority to do that.
- Your organization's data is yours. Skaters, evaluators, evaluations, scores, comments, and summaries entered under your organization belong to your organization. Pinnieboard uses them only to run the service as described on the Privacy page, and never sells or shares them for anyone else's purposes.
- You are responsible for what you enter. You must have the authority to evaluate the skaters you enter and to invite the people you invite. Keep comments about hockey. Do not enter anything you are not entitled to hold.
- Accounts. Keep your password to yourself. Every full admin in your organization can see everything in it and can add or remove other admins; choose them accordingly. Tell us right away if you believe an account has been misused.
- What Pinnieboard promises. To run the service with reasonable care; to keep each organization's data isolated from every other; to tell you promptly if we learn of a security problem affecting your data; and to give you your data back in a usable form (CSV today) if you leave.
- What Pinnieboard does not promise. The service is provided as-is. It is a tool to record and aggregate evaluators' judgments. The evaluations, the placement decisions, and how they are communicated to families are your organization's. Pinnieboard is not liable for team-selection outcomes, or for losses arising from use of the service beyond what you have paid for it.
- Suspension and ending. You can stop using Pinnieboard at any time and ask for export and deletion. Pinnieboard may suspend an organization that is misusing the service or whose use creates a legal or safety problem, and will say why. Pinnieboard may stop offering the service with at least 60 days' notice and an export of your data.
- Changes. Material changes to these terms are emailed to every organization's owners before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
- Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Dane County, Wisconsin.
